英語が得意な方に質問です。英文を書きましたがあっているか分からないため間違いがありましたらお手数ですが訂正お願いします。 今回はサトイモと芽を辞書でひきました。

①６時に起きて身支度をしてそれから勉強をした。

I woke up at 6 and I got myself ready then I studied.



②友達からメールが来ていると思っていたが携帯会社からのお知らせだったので少しがっかりした。

I expected that there would be a mail from my friend but it was from my cellar phone company. So I was a bit disappointed.



③私たちは朝食を食べ終わったが、一時間後また子供がぐずりだした。

We finished eating breakfast, but one hour later, my kid was irritated again.

One hour later とafter one hour どちらもこの分で使えますか？



④コンタクトレンズの洗浄液をかった。

I bought liquid for contact lenses, it removes dirt from contact lenses.



⑤お昼にスパゲティーミートソースとサラダを作った。

I cooked pasta with meat sauce and salad for lunch.



⑥彼らはジャガイモの芽を植えていた。

There were putting seeding of potatoes into the soil.



⑦子供と散歩していたところ友達の子供とばったり会った。

彼女は彼女のお祖母ちゃんと一緒だった。

I ran into my friend’s daughter when I was walking with my son, and she was with her grandmother.



⑧父に豚汁を作るのでサトイモを採ってきてくれるよう頼んでいたが彼が忘れたため又買い物に行かなくてはいけなかった

My dad forgot to get taros, even I had asked him to get them as I was going to cook miso soup with pork and vegetables. So I had to go shopping again.



⑨次の期のゲートボールの役員を決めるため彼は外出した。

He went out for deciding next leaders for gate ball.

I was a bit disappointed.



3. We finished (having) breakfast. One hour later, my child began to fret

himself.



◎ after one hour ではなく、 one hour after ～ を用いる。 One hour after we

finished breakfast, my child began to fret himself again.



4. I bought washing liquid for my contact lenses.



5. I cooked pasta with meat sauce and made a salad for lunch.



6. They were planting potatoe eyes in the firmland.



7. When I was walking along the street with my son, I ran into my

friend's daughter. She was with her grandmother.



8. As I was thinking of making port soup for supper, I asked my father

to get some taros when he was going out. However, he forgot about it.

So I had to go shopping myself.



9. He went out to attend a board meeting of the gateball club as it was

scheduled to decide on the new coordinators.



[補足を読んで]



（１） 起床して「身支度をする」とは、「着替えをする」ことでは？ get myself ready と言われれば



‘Get yourself ready for what ?’



と聞きたくなります。 日本語でも、「起きて、準備をする」ではなんともしっくりしません。つまり、情報不足です。「起きて、着替えをする」ほうが流れがいいと思います。「着替えをする」は英語で change といいます。



（２） seed は「種をまく」という意味です。たとえば、seed rye in the field/seed

the field with rye のように、用います。
